In 1997, Mrs. Manjul Gupta, an army wife, embarked on a journey to redefine beauty and wellness in India. With a passion for skincare, she trained under the legendary Shahnaz Husain in the early ’90s while her family was stationed in Calcutta. Her expertise soon became a trusted service within army circles, where she brought confidence and skincare to those around her. Moving across cities, she carried her passion with her until Bangalore became home.
What started as a small salon in her apartment quickly blossomed into a beloved beauty haven. Fueled by her entrepreneurial spirit, Mrs. Gupta wasn’t just offering services—she was creating a premium, luxurious beauty destination for the first time in the city.
A new era in beauty: Salon meets Clinical precision
The beauty industry felt unorganised—luxury spaces lacked warmth, services felt impersonal, and customers had to juggle multiple providers for their beauty and clinical needs. The experience was fragmented, making self-care feel more like a chore than a luxury.
Recognising this gap, Mrs. Manjul Gupta, alongside her husband Dr. Sushil Gupta, pioneered India’s first Hybrid Clinic-Salon Model—bringing together the skills of a salon and the precision of a clinic under one roof. With Bodycraft, patrons no longer had to choose between indulgence and expertise; they could experience both seamlessly, ensuring convenience without compromise.

Dr. Sushil Gupta and Mrs. Gupta set to introduce India’s first-ever hybrid Clinic-Salon model.
Expanding the Legacy
Sahil Gupta stepped in as CEO, ushering Bodycraft into a new era of growth. Under his leadership, Bodycraft expanded from 2 to 8 outlets across Bangalore.

Bodycraft Clinic’s flagship store was unveiled, offering advanced, US FDA-approved treatments.
Shaping the Future
With a vision to empower the next generation of beauty professionals, Swati Gupta launched Bodycraft Academy, offering expert-led training in makeup and hairstyling in collaboration with Sassoon-trained stylists.
Stepping into Mumbai
Bodycraft extended its expertise beyond Bangalore, opening 2 premium outlets in Mumbai at Chembur and Kemps Corner, bringing its signature experience to a new audience.
A Nationwide Footprint
With 32 stores across Bangalore and Mumbai, Bodycraft brought its Clinic, Salon, and Spa under one roof.
The Journey Continues
From a single apartment to a beauty empire, Bodycraft is set to expand to 50 stores across Bangalore, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, and Dehradun, continuing its mission of delivering excellence in beauty and wellness.
